What Do You Want To Learn About Marketing Online?
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
I thought I would come straight out and ask you!
What do you really want to learn about internet marketing?
Let’s face it, many blogs and marketing pieces are good but they are far too often stand alone with one bit size concept all by itself, there is very little flow and momentum created since you don’t get enough information to whatever the tips or strategy is about!
I realize so many of you want different tools and tips for Adwords to Twitter and everything in between…
Problem is if I simply carve out the latest and greatest tips and strategies on every subject I can then some people will get confused and do the classic “Internet Marketing Dance” i.e. hop from one idea to another before the first one has had a chance to work! ….. sound familiar?
Here’s my idea..
I’ll set up a questionnaire or poll and you can tell me what you want to know… simple!
Of course I can’t answer everything individually, but I will focus on the most popular topics, for example if you want lots on How to Sell with Video Marketing then I’ll do a big step-by-step guide that gives a flow and logical progression to follow.
Stay tuned I’ll have more very soon…

Do You Use Mac or PC for internet Marketing?
Do you use Mac or PC? or for that matter both!
I must admit I was a long time PC user but have been converted somewhat to Mac in the last 6 months.
Being a full time Internet marketer and running other businesses it’s great to have both, but I say converted to Mac somewhat because it ain’t everything the Mac ads will have you believe! ….
It crashes overheats, and runs out of battery real quick sometimes, apart from that the Macbook pro is brilliant for Multimedia and particularly Multimedia marketing online, podcasts, video etc.
If you’re doing web video marketing (you would be crazy not to) then the Mac does make it pretty breazy.
Screenflow is a ripper screen capture program that is magic and will be even better with drag and drop transitions but the cool video window and slick interface is a beautiful thing.
If you wanted to only use the Mac for internet marketing the problem is most internet marketing software is PC only but you can simply use Parallel for Windows which lets you run all your PC programs in a window on the Mac….. many would say best of both worlds.
If you do or want some advice, just leave a comment and I’ll give you the best tips I can and let you see exactly what I use for both PC and Mac.

Web Video A Must For Affiliates Info Marketers Alike
If you market online and haven’t yet started producing your own videos, whether simple Camtasias with or without voice or full motion video then you are losing out on massive traffic opportunities everyday that you wait!
Sure it has been said many times how important doing video is now, but I still talk to other internet marketers every week that keep putting off making those videos to promote either affiliate products or their own products. And here is the critical part and why you just can’t wait any longer, the number one reason that people tell me why they put it off is fear of coming off sounding unprofessional, looking stupid or learning the tech side to video.
This is the very reason the people who do get into video and multimedia online are those who will win in the end.
Think about it, most of us will happily create written content, articles, blog posts, comments etc because we remain somewhat anonymous, but when we create video with us speaking or live on the camera, the fear of performing steps in, and I totally understand this because it took me months to get comfortable with filming myself, even doing just the audio was hard at the beginning, but once I got over it and began posting video for content and adding video to my sales pages….WHAM! traffic exploded, sales tripled and most of all it was fun to do.
Here is a saying that one of the best business teachers I have had the privilege of learning from, “Do it once and get paid forever” example, write the book or make the film and get paid forever.
“Here’s the kicker; your videos don’t have to be TV production quality, far from it, some of my best performing are average to say the least.”
Here’s why, the unpolished video comes across more real to people, it seems more genuine!
BUT! there are extremely important aspects to make the video work, like keeping folks engaged, not boring them
So here is where you come in
Over the next few weeks we will look at some examples of good videos and poor ones, some great ways to get started and the really cool free tools that will transform your marketing if you give it a real go.
I’m going to show you exactly how I went from stammering newbie to quietly competent and confident, notice the lack of expert there, thats because I’m not an expert and you absolutely don’t need to be as you will see.
So stay tuned for the next part where we will look at some of the core essentials.
Talk soon
